Ikigai is a high-performance sailing yacht with true racing pedigree and the comfort of a modern luxury cruiser. Designed by renowned naval architects Judel/Vrolijk and built in aluminium by JFA in 2002, she underwent a major refit at Vitters Shipyard in 2018, effectively a complete rebuild that has given her a fresh, contemporary look and updated systems throughout.
Measuring 25.13 metres in length, Ikigai is a light displacement yacht designed to offer fast, responsive sailing. With a carbon mast, self-furling carbon boom, self-tacking genoa and hydraulic winches, she is a joy to helm and remains easy to handle, even with a relatively small crew. Her flush deck keeps all running rigging hidden below, resulting in a clean, uncluttered and safe deck layout.
Her interior, crafted by GCA architects in Barcelona, features clear varnished teak and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The spacious saloon and dining area amidships form the social hub of the yacht, with generous seating and plenty of natural light. Forward, Ikigai offers guest accommodation for up to 6 guests in a large master cabin with seating area and ensuite bathroom, plus two twin guest cabins, each with its own bathroom, all attended by a professional crew of 2.
Aft of the saloon you will find the crew cabin, a high-tech navigation station and chart table to port, and the galley and crew mess to starboard, arranged for efficient operations and discretion. The transom opens to provide access to the tender garage, where the custom 13 ft tender with 40 hp outboard is stowed.
On the fun side, Ikigai carries an impressive range of water toys and sports equipment, including a custom tender, four golf sets, two SUP boards, waterskis, kitesurf board, snorkelling and full diving gear, Seabob and fishing tackle, making every day at sea as active or relaxed as guests wish.
During summer, Ikigai is available for charter in the West Mediterranean, with a strong focus on the Balearic Islands, as well as the French Riviera, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, Naples & Amalfi Coast, Tuscany & Elba and the Marseille–Saint Tropez area. Whether you want to explore Mallorca’s dramatic coastline, anchor off Formentera’s white-sand beaches or enjoy the contrasts of Ibiza and the quieter anchorages of Menorca, Ikigai is an exceptional choice for guests who appreciate performance sailing, design and refined onboard service.
