Some destinations only make sense from the sea. Corsica and Sardinia are two of them. Their pink granite coves, their improbably clear waters, their coastlines that time seems to have forgotten: all of this takes on an entirely different dimension when you arrive aboard the Azimut Magellano 66 "Evergreen", a brand-new 2024 yacht that represents the very best of Italian nautical design. As the exclusive distributor of Azimut Yachts for Spain, Marina Estrella Charter makes this extraordinary yacht available with a professional crew, so that your Mediterranean experience is, quite simply, unforgettable.
The "Evergreen" operates from Cannigione, in the heart of the La Maddalena Archipelago in Sardinia, during the summer season, and from Varazze on the Italian Riviera during autumn and winter — opening a range of destinations that spans from the wildest coves of Sardinia to the most refined coastlines of the French Riviera.
A yacht built for long-range cruising without compromise
The Azimut Magellano 66 belongs to the Magellano series, Azimut's family of yachts conceived expressly for long-range cruising with maximum on-board comfort. Its innovative Dual Mode semi-planing hull, developed by P.L. Ausonio Naval Architecture and Azimut's R&D department in GRP and carbon fibre, optimises consumption and efficiency at low and medium speeds, with a range that makes ambitious passages effortless. The twin MAN i6 850 HP engines deliver a top speed of up to 24 knots when needed. The "Evergreen" also carries stabilisers, ensuring exceptionally smooth navigation even in choppy seas and allowing guests to sleep at anchor in total comfort.
Exterior spaces: the deck as a private lounge over the sea
At 20.15 metres in length and 5.54 metres in beam, the "Evergreen" offers an unusual generosity of exterior spaces for its size. The stern cockpit is wide and bright, with U-shaped sofas, teak table and awning, ideal for lunch with the coast in view or sundowner aperitifs while the yacht lies at anchor in a secluded cove. The outdoor shower and bathing platform provide effortless access to the sea. On the flybridge — the highest and most panoramic space on the boat — the helm station shares the deck with a relaxation and dining area with teak table, from which the views over the Mediterranean are simply breathtaking. At the bow, generous sunbathing areas invite complete rest with only the horizon in view.
Interiors: Azimut's quiet luxury
The interior of the "Evergreen" defines what Azimut means by luxury: not ostentation, but quality in every detail. The main saloon on the upper deck is extraordinarily spacious and light-filled, surrounded by large windows that bring the sea inside at all times. Oversized sofas in beige and cream fabrics, a dining table, lounge area and fully equipped galley with barbecue compose a space where it is easy to forget you are on a boat. The helm station is integrated on the same level, with access from the flybridge.
Below deck, four guest cabins each have their own en-suite bathroom. The owner's cabin is the jewel of the yacht: a full-beam suite with a double bed, relaxation area and bathroom with marble countertop and glass shower. The VIP cabin also features a double bed and full bathroom. Two additional cabins — one with twin berths and one with bunk beds — complete the accommodation for up to 8 overnight guests, with 3 full bathrooms in total. Crew quarters are entirely independent, with their own cabin for 2 and private bathroom.
The yacht is equipped with air conditioning throughout, watermaker, generator, audio/video system, and tanks holding 4,500 litres of fuel and 1,000 litres of fresh water — the autonomy needed for the most ambitious passages.
Crew: captain and stewardess at your service
The "Evergreen" always sails with a professional crew of captain and stewardess, selected by Azimut Yachts and with in-depth knowledge of the waters and anchorages of Corsica and Sardinia. The captain handles navigation with safety and precision, selecting the finest anchorages based on wind conditions and guests' preferences. The stewardess attends to every detail of life on board with discretion and dedication: from the welcome pack on arrival to water toy management, with attentive personal service throughout. On the "Evergreen", your only role is to enjoy.
Water toys: the sea as your playground
The "Evergreen" carries a full water toy package for turning every anchorage into an adventure: a Pirelli jet tender with 90 HP engine, 2 Jobe Stand Up Paddleboards, 2 Jobe Seascooters for underwater exploration, and full snorkelling equipment. All ready to deploy the moment the anchor drops in a dream cove.
The destinations: Corsica and Sardinia from the sea
From Cannigione, at the gateway to the La Maddalena Archipelago, the "Evergreen" has immediate access to some of the most breathtaking marine landscapes in the Mediterranean. The emerald waters of La Maddalena and Spargi, the pristine seabeds of Cala Coticcio, the cliffs of Capo d'Orso, the magic of Cala Luna in the Gulf of Orosei. And crossing the Strait of Bonifacio, Corsica: Bonifacio perched on its white limestone cliffs above the sea, the crystal coves of Cap Corse, the Scandola Nature Reserve — a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Destinations that only make sense from the water. Destinations the "Evergreen" was built for.
